The researcher used speed, agility, power and strength types of physical fitness variables. For this study the data was taken from pre-test and post-test and, which was analyzed by using SPSS software of version 25. For the method of analysis, the researcher applied a paired sample t-test, two sample independent t-test and correlation tests to assess the mean difference in pre and post-test as well as to assess the mean difference of physical fitness between control and experiment groups. Generally, the interval trainings (a 30-m run test, Illinois agility run test, vertical high jump test and Wall Squat test) that were given for eight consecutive weeks were found to significantly improves the speed, agility, power and strength of the football players who were assigned to the intervention (experiment) group (p < 0.05). It involves reducing the number of players on each team and adjusting the rules to create a more fast-paced and skill-intensive environment. SSGs are commonly used in training and development programs to enhance player skills, decision-making, teamwork, and fitness levels. However, earlier research has not yet considered the effects of SSG in basketball. The main focus of this study is to determine whether SSGs have a significant impact on these physical attributes: CVE, agility, and speed. A single-factor experimental design was used. Participants underwent a 10-week SSG training program. Pre- and post-intervention, a 2.4 km run test, a T-test, and a 20-meter acceleration test were used to determine the cardiovascular endurance, agility, and speed, respectively. The mean, standard deviation, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test were used for statistical analysis. Participants underwent a 10- week SSG training program. Pre- and post-intervention, a 2.4 km run test, a T-test, and a 20-meter acceleration test were used to determine the cardiovascular endurance, agility, and speed, respectively, at 0.05. The result shows that there is a significant improvement between the pre-post results of CVE (M = 14.45’, SD = 1.57) and agility (M = 12.86’, SD = 1.71); and agility (M = 11.29”, SD = 0.75) and agility (M = 9.8", SD = 0.8). On the other hand, there was no significant improvement in speed (M = 3.58", SD = 0.21) or (M = 3.54”, SD = 0.24). Therefore, it can be concluded that the 10-week SSG has a significant effect on CVE and agility. These results provide valuable insights for coaches, trainers, teachers, instructors, and other researchers to use as a starting point to incorporate training protocolsItem THE PRACTICES AND CHALLENGES OF SPORTS EQUIPMENTMARKET IN SIDAMA REGION, ETHIOPIA(HAWASSA UNIVERSITY, 2023-11) MILKIAS GEBRESports Equipment Market has become one of the leading industries in the world that improves social, economic, cultural and mental development of individuals and the society as a whole. Speed was measured by using 30m sprint test, balance using standing stork test and core strength by using plank test. Data collected from participants were analysed by paired and independent sample t-test using SPSS version 25 with a significance level of < 0.05. According to paired sample t-test result the experimental group showed significant improvement of 30m sprint test, standing stork test and plank test (P<0.05). But, no significant improvement were found in control group (p>0.05). In addition, as it was analysed by the independent t-test the experimental group show significant improvement on post-test of 30m sprint test, standing stork test and plank test than control group (p<0.05). On the other hand purposively, 23 disabled students were selected from these five target schools. Questionnaires, interview FGD and Field Observation were the instruments used for data collection. The data gathered were analyzed using various statistical tools such as frequency, percentage, and mean value, and chi square test by means of SPSS version 27. Reliability Test was conducted. According to Bonnet and Wright, (2015) an alpha level of 0.6 and above is considered acceptable. So the study’s alpha value was 0.988, therefore, this reveals an excellent internal consistency of the research instrument. The computed data affirmed that disabled student's engagement in physical activities during PE classes were very poor, the challenges for disabled students to participate in PE classes were very high and students knowing the benefits of PE due to poor or no support from their PE teachers they benefited below their expectation. Physical Education teachers gave no consideration for disabled students.
